If like me, you have been watching the TV coverage from Hay this week, you may have seen Mariella Frostrup inviting her guests to nominate their favourite holiday reading. We thought this was such a good idea that we decided to do the same thing. Tell us about your holiday reads, and if they coincide with the Festival sub-themes of Crime, Water and Journeying that’s all to the good, but if they don’t, that’s fine!
To kick things off, I’ve chosen the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich, which begins with One for the Money and continues with Two for the Dough, Three to Get Deadly, etc, all the way up to Finger Lickin’ Fifteen. ‘Laugh out loud funny, and some genuine tension in these tales about the world’s most inept bounty hunter.
